Stakeholders are the key drivers for the organization and primary users of the marine protected areas. The Education & Outreach Program is tasked to keep stakeholder update with relevant information about the marine protected areas and through the medium of stakeholder meeting/ engagement this is accomplished and continuously occurring. Keeping the community abreast about impact of climate change is being done through the Smarts Coasts Project, importance of proper solid waste management through the GEF Project, Sustainable Fishing through the Mar Fund Project and Proper Waste Disposal through the NEBF Project.
Each project is grounded in stakeholder engagement to gather direct feedback, mechanisms, and charting the way forward to improve the coastal communities and protected areas. A hybrid has been adopted for in person and virtual setting to conduct meetings, workshops, and focus group sessions.
