Education & Outreach Program

The Education and Outreach Program ensures key that messages and information are streamlined to stakeholders. The program seeks to continuously strengthen its rapport and establish clear communication while broadening the stroke of engagement with stakeholders. SEA’s Education and Outreach Team works in collaboration with 8 coastal communities of southern Belize to deliver marine conservation information necessary to foster stewardship towards the marine environment

Building and fueling interest about our marine ecosystems are vital components to create the next generation of guardians. Therefore, the E&O program offers a unique opportunity in exploring and becoming knowledgeable of the MPA’s occurrences and a concrete understanding of the management along with rules and regulation for the proper use of the MPA’s. Thus, instilling ownership to continuously protect and proper use of Belize’s marine ecosystems.
