Coral bleaching is conducted in September and October each year. Global warming is one of the driving factors that induces a major change in sea temperature conditions placing coral reefs under stress thus causing coral bleaching. Monitoring of the coral reefs are very essential to identify the severity of bleaching, coral diseases, live and dead coral coverage and to remain informed of any other changes within the coral reefs.
