The National Conch Survey is conducted annually from August to September at the Gladden Spit and Silk Cayes Marine Reserve (GSSCMR) and Laughing Bird Caye National Park (LBCNP) in collaboration with the Belize Fisheries Department. This national effort aims to monitor and assess the status of Belize’s conch population to support sustainable management of the species.
