Stakeholders are the key partners and primary users of the marine protected areas managed by SEA. Through regular Watchdog meetings and stakeholder sessions, SEA shares updates on projects and gathers valuable feedback to strengthen marine management.
These engagements, supported by initiatives such as REEF Guard, Smart Coasts, GEF, MarFund, and NEBF, focus on issues like climate change, solid waste management, sustainable fishing, and proper waste disposal. Using in-person meetings, workshops, and focus groups has been adopted to maintain consistent communication and participation across all stakeholder groups.
